Practice Nursing Staff
Our Practice is supported by three nursing staff – Janelle, Diane and Sharon.
The nurses come from a wide variety of backgrounds and have extensive nursing experience in general practice and the hospital system.
During the upcoming flu season we will be running flu clinics for those eligible. It is important to note that vaccinations are readily available at any time.
I joined the practice in 2010 and am now the Nurse Manager responsible for Clinical Governance, Infection control and Nursing services. I trained at Prince Henry and then midwifery at St George Hospital. I have worked at Elcho Island, Gunnedah, Bourke Hospital, Walgett Health Centre and with the Education Department, Coonabarabran TAFE, Lismore Base, Casino TAFE (Teacher), Casino Hospital as Night Nurse Manager for 10 years before moving to Bungendore and have over 40 years of experience specialising in emergency nursing and management.

I started working at Bungendore Medical Centre in 2014 when our family re-located here with the ADF. Graduating from the University of Wollongong in 1994, I have experience in rural and remote nursing, Indigenous Health, Coronary Care, Renal Medicine, medical/surgical nursing and aged care. I left the public health system in 2009 to work at a large urban general practice and also facilitated undergraduate nursing students studying at UOW during this time. My areas of interest are child & family health, childhood immunisations, wound care, health assessments and emergency care.
I started working at Bungendore Medical Centre in 2016. I trained at Royal Canberra Hospital specialising in Education, Critical Care and Emergency Nursing. I am an associate lecturer at University of Canberra for undergraduate and post graduate nursing. My areas of interest are emergency nursing and critical illness, chronic healthcare, health assessments and education
Our practice is supported at the front desk by several administrative support staff.
Anne has worked at the practice since 2003 and works Monday to Friday and Saturdays as required.
Maxine joined the practice in 2014 and works part-time Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Mary has been a part time receptionist here for just over 3 years and works part-time Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the afternoon/evenings.
Molly is a part time receptionist and works Mondays, Thursday and Friday afternoon. She is also studying a Diploma in Medical Practice Assistant and works in this role Tuesdays, Thursday and Friday mornings.
